Hartwell Communications has won a 2001 Aegis Award for a 60 minute video produced for the renal care professional. The Aegis Awards are the video industry's premier competition for peer recognition of outstanding video productions and non-network TV commercials.

"Communication Prescription for the Renal Care Professional" was honored in the "Training and Education" category for its outstanding production quality by a distinguished panel of judges representing industry professionals from around the country.

The video demonstrates - how to better understand and communicate with renal patients.

In addition, shares advice, communication techniques, insight and several stories of hope from people who live with kidney disease and from veteran renal care professionals.

We knew that the finished video met all of our expectations of illustrating the positive impact renal care professionals can have on people's lives.  Renal disease is too demanding if you do not have hope," said Lori Hartwell, Executive Producer.
